my Story

I accidentally fell into flowers whilst studying surreal and abstract art in Sydney. The house was full of canvasses and flowers, then one day I looked around the studio and realised that the flowers, branches and foliage vases had grown, the canvasses stood still … I had become besotted with all things nature, my love affair of floristry had begun.

I started my career with three years at college and lots of long days in a flower shop in Sydney, learning from a master of our craft just another part of the blessing.

Speaking of being blessed, fortunate, lucky … whatever you like to call it I have made a career of arranging flowers all over the world, I never tire of the seasons, being amongst nature daily, icky buckets and lots of hours crafting ..

I am inspired by the smallest of things and constantly find myself walking outside, finding this seasons offerings to create with. My style is wild and ethereal, my work is always evolving to meet a new clients brief and I like to think I am adaptable in all spaces, places, destinations ..

I am currently working in the beautiful space that is The Fife Arms in Braemar Scotland as the florist in residence. I have been working with some fabulous clients over the past year and am lucky enough to now call Deeside home with my partner and two gorgeous hounds.
